@Canteu said:He can post there sure, but the PC forums on giantbomb are a perfectly good place to ask as well.
You should post this on tested.com they even have a help forum
@fontainefellow: 400$ is not really enough for a decent machine. You probably can get an average machine that barely runs the latest games..What you wanna do is go on newegg.com or a similar website, pick a motherboard (mobo), processor (cpu), graphics card (gpu), memory (ram), hard disk (hdd), a power supply and ofcourse a case. For your budget, you're probably better off with the cheaper parts, which is an MSI mobo, and an AMD cpu and gpu. However I'm not from the US and I'm not familiar with the prices there so while I've given you a main idea of what you need, I hope an american duder will recommend parts based on your budget. They're probably gonna recommend a, like I said, MSI mobo, an AMD Phenom X4 cpu, 4 GB of ram and an AMD 5000 series gpu.
Like I said, I'm not exactly the most tech savvy guy on these forums, so I might consider raising my budget a bit. But I'm really not looking to build a super high-end machine or anything, I just want a PC that can run modern games.
$400 feels like too little to spend on an entirely new computer; does this sum include a monitor and peripherals?
I'm happy with my current monitor, keyboard, mouse and speakers, so this does not include all that stuff.
