I'm no musician, but my friends play in a three-piece called Plastic Candles. They're an Irish group who's work varies from blues rock to prog, punk, a bit of guilty-pleasure pop, and a sprinkling of psychedelic. They're a relatively recent band, only beginning in early 2013, and so don't have many tracks recorded at present; they're Soundcloud only features three tracks--demos really--but they're recording later this year, just got to work for the money to do so.

I, totally with bias, recommend a listen and see if they're to your liking. :)

@alexw00d: I'm not judging, I have no reason to judge anybody--I could care as much for DotA as I could for the next Prime Minister of South Africa. I'm saying it's valid to ask what effects DotA has on the human mind, which I think would be a fascinating study. Much more than the game, surely. :P

@joshwent: I wouldn't consider this judging--it's a legitimate question we all should ask; as a friend of a DotA addict, I am concerned for his mental wellness.

And thrice-ly, moi. The dominant opinion shared across most mediums is that, currently, Ubisoft's words are not to be trusted at this point in time.

It really does depend on the person she may be but, honestly, it's this:

Having no car is a non-issue. It never has been one for myself or for my friends who don't drive - so basically all of 'em.

Besides, you can work having no car to your advantage: a walk to and from the place can be romantic (depending on the distance, though) and if walking is out of the question then ordering a cab is definitely a standard move.

A first date can and does leave a solid impression so make it unique, or at least interesting. Having no car is a good start to that. :)
