i had a similar problem with importing ME1->ME2, probably because i moved the ME1 savegame to a different storage-medium, and this helped:

i started ME1, loaded my last ME1 savegame, and finished ME1 again. it took around 30minutes, and then i saved the game.

now i had a new ME1 savegame, and this one imported fine into ME2.

of course i have no idea if this helps with ME1->ME2 or not, but it just might.

i have problems with the whole upgrading/buying system, i guess i'm just not sure if i should do it at all.

please note, that my plan is to simply finish the game. i am not planning to get ever trophy, or kill every optional boss (if there are any). and no spoilers please (i'm roughly in the middle of the game).

my problems is that i started to level up my starting weapons, and now they are around level 8, so they give like 50strength/50magic, and all the weapons i can buy/find are like 10strength/10magic. why should i buy them?

those new weapons i can buy or find do offer some additional benefits, like bonuses for debuffs and such, but the primary attributes are very low at level1, so i would have to upgrade them to the level of my current weapons.... but then i could also just continue upgrading my current ones.

my xbox 360 (arcade edition) died (red ring etc.)

it's not under warranty anymore, so having it repaired by microsoft costs me 84€. buying a new (S model) with a 250gb hdd costs around 220€ here.

which one should i do? i also keep thinking about when the next microsoft console will come, and how it should affect my decision :-)

hi,

there are many trailers for ff13vs, but this one is still my favourite:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ciZdj4KTp80

the only problem is the video-quality. does anyone know about a higher-quality version?

i know that there is a hd one which contains this content and more, but i prefer this one (the action matches to the music better)

hi, is there a website where i could check the prices of the games on psn? something like http://marketplace.xbox.com/ for xbox-live? it's annoying to always turn on the ps3 and go into the psn store...

the problem with the demo is that the high-quality textures are simply not there, so it's impossible to test it :( ... so much about having a demo to help the user decide...
btw. it's the same for the console. on the bioware forums some people say that the console version WILL have an auto-attack option (so you do not have to button-mash),
but again, the demo does not have it.

hmmm.. but my video card can do directx10 (at least wikipedia claims so:  http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nvidia_9600), and there is a directx-10 mode in dragon-age-2 ... so i think there will be some improvements.. i just don't know if i need directx11 for the high-res textures or not...

my PC is stuck at windows XP, which means directx9-mode in dragon-age-2,
and also, it seems middle-quality textures. ( http://bit.ly/gwgPrf)

i also have xbox360/ps3, so i wonder which version will look better: on a dirext9-pc or on the consoles?
until now i was planning to get the PC version, but now i'm not sure... i don't mind much the console-controls
(as long as i can turn on some kind of not-button-mashing-attack mode)....
opinions?

[EDIT] another option is to upgrade to windows7, but my computer is relatively old (intel core 2 duo 3ghz, nvidia 9600)... what do you think, does it make sense to upgrade it to windows 7 for dragon age 2?
