The topic creator read my mind, I felt like posting a WAYP thread but will just use this one instead.

Today I have been playing LA Noire and Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter co-op via Xbox Live.

I really looking forward to this game, but if Camerack says he needs a bit more time, then you give him more time.

Just what I am thinking. I am really looking forward to playing this but I want it right and if that means more time to get it finished then that is cool with me.

Keep doing what EA are doing, advertise in big sports and other television events where the probable demographics of the Battlefield players are (i.e. in the UK a trailer for Modern Warfare 3, Battlefield 3, and Gears of War 3 were all shown in the space of half an hour maybe).

Have events where you get the press to come and see the game and show the best parts of the game so they write up positive things about the game for those who read Giantbomb, Gamespot, IGN, etc.

Perhaps have some demo's out in major cities across North America and Europe (where the game probably sells the best).

Invite some fans of the PC games to Dice to play the game (in a Left 4 Dead Valve style where you show the aggrieved the game is good, and they will report its good thus more positive PR).

Keep the game in the public eye with adverts in magazines, on store shelves, etc so the "average joe" knows the game is coming out.

Other than that perhaps get somebody famous who enjoys and plays the games to be the face man/woman of the game.

I have had a play of the first couple of chapters in Duke Nukem Forever. It is by no means the best game ever but its worth a play if you want a throw back and want to see some different ideas. It has issues but I think it was expected with how this game got chopped and changed during its development cycle. I respect Gearbox just finishing the game off and sending it out rather than completley wiping it and starting the game again.

There is potential for a sequal and I think that was what the best situation was here.

Perhaps go with one for now and get the other when its cheaper (so given the 3DS is out now, get that now then get the PS Vita when its cheaper and you have saved that cash up again).

I tend to get most music on CD form unless I can not find it that way in which case I will try Amazon or iTunes for the track/abum. I tend to use Amazon more though as I like their DRM free music so I can plug my iPod into the Xbox 360 and not have issues playing songs due to DRM (which is a tad frustrating when you have a track that will not play due to it having the iTunes DRM protection even though you are playing it via the iPod).

But yeah, I usually by my music in CD form as it works out cheaper more often than not.

I was looking at the Xbox 360 version, but reading the article on this site suggests the game will have compression issues and will look blury at parts in the game. If this turns out to be true (whether this is the case or not I do not know as I have not been reading up on the game, just watching the trailers) then I may go with the Playstation 3 edition. The PC version will be awesome no doubt but my hardware is starting to show its age and I am not sure about upgrading as it would be an expensive do (a new motherboard as I am stretching my current config to the limits with the intel socket 773 with the quad core I have so a i5 or i7 core motherboard, new ram as I use DDR2, as well as a CPU and probably a GPU as my 5770 will be showing its age at this point as well).

TIme will tell but I am definatly stoked for this game.

Hey all

I have been watching the progression of Rage for a while (since I saw a trailer, I think at E3 last year perhaps, or maybe a later date). The graphics are blowing me away and the gameplay looks interesting. Also with the latest trailer I saw on Youtube I feel like the story is comming together quite nicely and I am getting a bit of a Fallout 3 vibe from the game (which is great as I loved that game).

So anybody else here feel like they are actually stoked to get their hands on this game?

Enjoy.

Out of interest, is it June 1st the pass goes to 1,200 or is it a later date?

Thanks Zombutler for the confirmation on what is included with the pass.
