" The game requires a lot of patience and a spoonful of old-school gaming. There is a perfectly good reason why the aiming sucks...its because the character you're playing as sucks basically - and you need to keep at it, so he can improve...playing the role of the character and his progression.  Say it with me....ROLE PLAYING GAME"  

Obsidian has made some very good games, and this one feels kinda unpolished and a little unfinished.. the shooting mechanics ive come across are really bad so far (but i've only used pistols mainly).. the concept and everything about this game are kinda cool.. spy culture, the crazy characters the dialogue trees and the choice (with story and character development).. but it just isn't as fun as it should be.. it just doesn't play that well.. though thats just me (and I still am playing through it, coz i kinda like everything else about it that i can handle the mad shooting and dumb A.I.) 

I love the concept but the execution is just a little off.. even though some of the mission stuff is not as fun as it could be, the spy stuff is really cool, the hideouts, the characters and the dialogue (which is kinda different) which is keeping me hooked at least for now

Yeah I went to taiwan as well, because it was the one i wanted to do the least, but dang has it got some cool characters, stephen heck is pretty funny.. although im up to the boss now and i dunno if its glitched or whatever but i took his health down to nothing and he still killed me  
  
EDIT: He is such a hack boss.. when you take his health down so much two guards rock up and since all the boss does is run up and melee you the only chance you have of taking out the guards the to take them out hand-to-hand and he just attacks you while your trying to kill them.. managed to kill him and a grenade kills me (the first 5 or 6 times he never uses grenades but now he does).. man this game just wants me to hate it

But all stores started selling it a day or 2 early, and i picked it up yesterday

Well i dunno about SMG's but the assault rifle has alternate bullets for stealth.. you might be able to get a silencer but i dunno

I thought that at first, but i've been pouring points into pistols and its pretty much as useless as rank one, the only difference is that it's added a critical hit crosshair.. so when i line a shot up on a guy the cursor builds up, but the sensitivity is bad its only useful if there not moving

I know aye.. I have more than half points in pistols and its just better to use a machine gun in any gun situation
