I wonder what the point of tossing the clamshell design is. Is it just to save a few dollars so they dont have to make 2 seperate parts of the thing? Could it be some sort of way to make it look more like a smartphone rather than an old "clamshell" phone? Which sounds pretty stupid, considering the way the thing looks and what it actually is.

I was told to play Candy Crush Saga by a friend of mine, I had better judgement in his ideas of good games before then. The game was fun at first, attempting to play through it without buying any bonuses at all is proving to be way more frustrating than fun. I'm beginning to steer clear of mobile games more and more because of these gross monetization methods.

I'm waiting by listening to Random Access Memories on vinyl, which I bought last week pretty much solely due to Ryan and his comments on it. The album is so bittersweet now. I seems somehow perfectly fitting that his memory is now forever linked in my mind to such a fun, energetic album.

The sadness of this song is fitting. I like most of the songs on the album, but this one seems fitting right now.

This made me wanna listen to Get Lucky again and hearing it makes me think of Ryan on his wedding night. Possibly the happiest moment of his life and I like to think he's living that night for eternity.

  • - Shot off Danny's foot (It was his idea to shoot the cuffs, so I thought he was willing to sacrifice himself. I regret it.)
  • - Stayed in the Car (Got 1 tie, I was really hoping Eddie was willing to listen and get back in the car)
  • - Left Nate (Seemed like Russell left on his own, not really my choice?)
  • - Honest to Leland (I was hoping he'd listen)
  • - Killed Stephanie (I felt like staying at that truckstop for a while longer was a better idea despite the shit going down.)
  • - Bonnie, Vince and Wyatt left
  • - Russell, Shel and Becca stayed

Really interested for Season 2 now. My faves are Shel, Wyatt and Russell.

I feel bad for them, but did anyone HONESTLY expect this game to be a smash hit? At some point, these developers and publishers need to get realistic about what sells and what doesn't. While this game seemed well playing enough, it was destined to failure when they slapped the 60 dollar price tag on it instead of making it a low cost downloadable game.

I'm sure the developers were being realistic. You don't see them making some kind of bitter outcry about it. It's the audience that are not being realistic, with their "smash bros killer" mindset and thinking devs always have the time and funding to make every single idea they have into something that will blow everyone's minds.

But really though, should I feel obligated to pay sixty dollars for a game that isn't as good as Smash Bros and doesn't blow my mind with its ideas? I don't think it's totally unrealistic for an audience to be indifferent to a game when that's the transaction they're offered.

I don't find $60 for an "ok" game to be worth it either, but a ton of them are made and no one does anything about those. I'm only pointing out the fact the devs are being blamed for bad sales, when it's more the fault of publisher and consumer. Sure the devs could have come up with something totally different, it could have been a way better. But they are not to blame for bad pricing and the people who can't enjoy the game because its not smash bros.

Private messaged by accident
