Team TrackManiacs is still going. It's the old GB Team from waaaaaaaaaay back, and most people haven't played for a long time (I recently got back in too).

Send a message to Cash in-game if you want to have a chat channel that isn't 100% anime talk.

@mb: Only just finished downloading the 25gigs, installing it before I head to bed. Sounds like I'm in for some tinkering with the Tweaker tomorrow. And hopefully my old account will still work.

@mb: Same, but I'm getting 400 kB/s because I'm temporarily stuck on a GREAT 3g connection, visiting some family. Looks like I might get to patching some time tomorrow.

Wondering if my old character is still there, I feel like I made it to mid 20s level-wise. Though I might just start a new character and go through it again.

I'm downloading the Japanese version now, been wanting to check this game out and it seems like the unofficial English patch is to a point now where the game is totally playable.

Downloading the JP version now too, even though it might take awhile. Now I just need to remember my old SegaID login info. Wondering if the GB group still exists or if it has been wiped out at some point.

@sterling: Agreed, just finished my Platinum after spending a bunch of time stuck on the Defiled chalice dungeon. After I got past the fire dog and Amygdala in Defiled, the rest felt SOOOO much easier.

EU psn now says "Expected Auto-Download date: 24/03/2015". Hopefully that means at 00:01 tonight, otherwise downloading 30gigs might be a little tight for me at least.

Yes I'll most likely get one, probably when the MH4 bundle hits Europe (if it ever does). I have never owned a Nintendo handheld and the catalogue on 3DS seems large enough with the releases this spring to finally get one.

I tend to post this site as a guideline for most PC builders, its not perfect but you can at least get an idea. http://www.logicalincrements.com/

I finished the game on Hard with a dual dagger rogue as my Inquisitor. I ended up doing A LOT of damage with mix of assassination / basic dagger spec. It also lends itself to a pretty cool and active style when you are jumping around the battlefield backstabbing fools. Only difficulty comes with heavy hitting 2handed melee enemies since their big swings tend to hit you even when you are behind them.

I used a party of Cassandra (basically unkillable past a certain point), Vivianne (also unkillable with her Knight enchanter stuff and double Res spells) and Varric just because I like him as a character.

I set all the AI to Follow themselves which made them act pretty much according to their "roles" as ranged and a tank. I usually just hit L1, picked a melee enemy and selected "attack my target", then ran past the enemies in stealth and 1shot/almost 1shot whatever ranged / caster enemy was there.

Also if you want to, you can pick up the Shadow Strike ability in the stealth tree, just because the animation (at least for female humans) is just a freaking uppercut. For some reason it has physics attached to it so if you use it as the killing blow, the enemy ragdoll kicks in as they die and your uppercut will send them flying into space (or about 20feet into the air, might as well be space).

I'm in a similar situation but after looking at the options, I'll most likely just wait for whenever Nintendo decides to bring the new 3DS model to the west, along with that version of MH.
