Eh, I thought Google Earth VR was cool for a while, but only very few areas are modeled in 3D.
And, for the areas that were modeled, I didn't feel like the "paper mache school project" 3D modeling looked good enough to convince my brain I was really there.
Most areas are just flat, low-res imagery, and are not modeled.
The Pyramids of Giza are not modeled, but Yankee Stadium is. Which is all that matters, really.
If I showed this to someone in 1940, 1965, 1980, and 2001 and said that in 2016 a person would think it eh, was cool for a while.....
I've only ever played one Laser Disc game in the arcade at California Extreme. They certainly are neat to look at. Cuphead looks like a modern Laser Disc game in that way.
I'm voting with my money on this. I only want to play MW remaster. I'm sure lots of people do. I can RedBox the campaign if I choose to, but I refuse to buy into their scheme just because the old game is popular and the new one might not be.
Call of Duty is at the top of the list of burning people's money after release.
