@ryanwho: Well to be fair shepard is in the military so he's not gunna be all sparkles and wow.
And he is a mold so you can go in and customize him how you wan't him to be, So it's no use judging a blank slate character.
Thats like making fun of the blank slate character from Soul Callibur. There just isn't a point.
So instead of getting all angry just agree to disagree on that case i suppose.

@themangalist:  Don't worry i agree a lot.
In the book he's just a fat italian guy walking around hell talking to everything in his path, But in this game its like he's italian Kratos with a scythe.

Final Fantasy XIV, i know it's having a rough start. Mostly due to it being released early and having much of its content not in the game yet. it's been having a bad start, But by the time the team actually makes a PS3 launch date most of the heavy problems should be taken care of.
From what friends who are playing it say its fixed for the most part and they have fun with it, and I want a good MMORPG to play and why not a Final fantasy.
So I hope when it comes around to release they get all the stuff in line.

And Two worlds II, i played the first one and it was full of glitched and the frame rate was beyond awful at times. But i did enjoy what it was trying to do,
And there were tons of quests and monsters so i'm hoping with all of the work they have been doing with the next installment it will be great.

DC Universe online, I like the idea of being able to create a super hero or villan and taking to the streets of Matrapolis or Gotham. There are obviously going to be a few hitches and I know everyone isn't going to agree with me but i love the idea of consol MMORPG's. There are good and bad points to both PC and Consol gaming but it also allowes those with less money who can't afford a 1,500-2,000$ gaming PC to play the games without breaking the bank.

                                                                                                                               Cortex command,
I know the game has been released already but as the site has stated its in a constant state of work and improvement. i've been playing this game for a looong time and i still get a kick out of playing it, Editing things and trying new stratagies. it's just all around awesome fun.
The people over at Data Realms really got something going with this one. They have been updating constantly throughout last year and they have been working harder in the past few months so I can say i can't wait to see what they come out with in 2011.

@Icemael:  oh I agree with you on that one, I just wish that more large company bodies would take some pointers from said passionate tallented people.
i'm so tired of saying graphics don't make a good game.

The gaming industry is flooded with bloated development studios pumping out high graphical low fun games at a huge 70$ price tag at launch,
But indie games that provide style with a high level of fun are overlooked more often than not. And if they do get a lot of attention if they don't sell the game to a larger company to sell,
The games get stolen over the web in various ways.
Thats not to say that high budget games are all bad but a high percent are in the case of rince and repeat stencil in gameplay and story just improve the graphics.
This is the case with many game franchises i used to idolize, But what i like and don't like is moot, the Topic is Indie or Big company.
Who do you throw your lot in with?
Me personally i'm with the Indie developers, The games that a lot of Indies come up with sound and look as if they would make awesome games i would gladly throw money at.
But sadly to say  most Indie developers can't get the money or manpower to accomplish the goal they want.

So what I wan't to see is some Indie developer love'n cause we all know they need it, Hell if you really think about it
all video gaming started with indie game developers. low budget but got the support of the people and grew untill it exploded into the
market you see today.
Take games like Machinarium (seen to the left) And Cortex command. Extreme fun at less than half the cost,
i wan't to see indie game developers grow hire more help and keep doing what they do for the love of the games,
Not for the love of money.
I do however see the need to evolve gaming but the problem is Indies have all the imagination and companies have all the money.
So that it's split down center on who can accomplish what without compromising the ideal of the game.

So come post your thought on the subject, No hateful comment please just a friendly discussion.
