@bigsocrates: The only thing I'll disagree with is that nothing emulates the Intellivision very well. I've got an Xbox One X and a PC with a 1660TI card and the problem is that the Intelivision controller is unique. That 16 way disc doesn't fit to any emulation, plus just thinking back on the ability to create your own plays in football down to the half second of motion of where your receivers would go hasn't been seen since I don't know when.

I picked up the Intelivision Lives pack back when it released, it was terrible. Since I fall into the older gamer with too much money category, I'll keep an eye on it anyway. Nothing on the new consoles has gotten my attention.

I'm on the older side of the gaming age (in my 50's) and I loved my Intellivision. Looking at what this new Amico will be, am I falling too far into the nostalgia hole? The price is higher than I thought it would be, but with the games being a lot cheaper it really has my interest.

Is there anything I can do to fix this obsession? Help me GB, you're my only hope.

The more games they add the harder it is for other companies to get me to pay $60 for a game I don't know I'll like.

I could name the game, but I wasn't trying to shame the company that did it. I know the history of the company and it really is just a couple guys from a previous company that went out of business (typical game dev story of our game is finished, so we all got let go), so I'm not trying to get people angry at them. I was more interested if I was just being over sensitive about the situation or if I had an actual beef.

Okay, first I'll be upfront and say maybe I'm just being a bit of a sensitive person here, but am I the only one who feels a little annoyed when I help fund a game via kickstarter, in effect prepaying for two copies in the case I'm talking about now, and then as the game gets closer to being released, I see the game on Steam selling for exactly what I paid for the game, but granting early access? I know, I helped fund the game, all I am promised is exactly what I paid for, and I understand that, but wouldn't you think that the publisher of the game would want to reward those who have supported the game the longest?

I guess it's just frustrating to see the people who picked up the game on steam already getting to play the game and help beta test it while I sit and wait for the game to be finished. I can only image how annoyed I'd be if I had backed the game to get alpha/beta access and paid MORE than what was being charged on Steam.

Anyone else think this is if not wrong, at least a little dirty? Or am I just crying because I want to play the game?

I'd like to see where the stat that for everyone one video used legitimately three more are doing so illegally. Where did that come from? The University of Pulling it out of our Ass?
