If I were asked "which game do you think is the best of this generation?", my answer would be the Mass Effect trilogy. And if I hade to pick one out of those games, I'd pick 2. So 2 wins.
I have a friend who will occasionally peruse the forums of a game he's interested in. But he isn't all that interested in the gaming community as a whole. That's about as close to my level of interest as any of my friends / family get.
At first I couldn't fast-travel because that would make it freeze. Then I noticed the cutscenes were choppy. So I managed to beat the game by simply not using fast-travel. Later on, when I booted up the game, I have a corrupt save file and I have to start over. So I go ahead and do that, but now the game has set me back about 2 hours of progress, despite me having saved prior to shutting it off. I'm not touching it until it is patched. It's a shame, since behind all that crap is a good game.
It'll be interesting to see how this goes, as I've been curious about Rocksmith myself. I've been playing guitar on and off for about 10 years, and I wonder if this "tool" could do anything for me.
