I've played about 15 hours of the game and have really tried to give it a chance, but you really, really need to communicate with others to have any fun, even minimal chat with strangers is better than absolutely no planning.

The downside of that is that other people playing games like this are the worst. The amount of homophobia, racism and sexism getting thrown about is absurdly high. I just can't do it anymore.

When the game is at its best it's magical. The flipside is some angry dude shouting in my ear "FUCKING MOVE YOU FUCKING TWAT!" (It turns out that moving would have gotten me killed) I know that the Tom Clancy games bring about a certain type of player, but people take it insanely seriously.

I've had incredible games, and the most intense 1V1 moments, but the bullshit is too much to deal with. You really need a couple of people to play with to get the most out of the game. It's a real shame.

Man, I imported Virtual-On Force a few years back when I was going through my "I'm gonna import weird shit from Japan" phase (It never really ended)... and of course GIANT ROBOTS. I had absolutely no idea what the hell I was doing. It's like 2 on 2, and I played a bunch online, but just got destroyed in every single match. I'm sure the Japanese players I kept getting teamed up with were not so happy about that.

I loved the look, and it has a crazy song I don't know the name of at the end of it. Part of me wishes I'd have figured out its systems more. It did get me like 800 achievement points in about 40 minutes though.

David Cage is making some of the best comedy games out there. That bit in Beyond where Ellen Page wanders around a room sobbing is one of the funniest parts of any game ever. I can't wait to see what David Cage is going to do with robo-ladies.

Holy shit is Dan really ruining my enjoyment of this. Do it how you want, but do this, do that, do this. Play the game how you would, but develop the weapons and use the exact tactics I used in my playthrough. Just stop it Dan.

There's been moments of this in the past games, but nothing quite as annoying as this time around... probably because it's fresh in Dan's mind.

I keep swinging back and forth on my feelings for the game. I Love Rock Band, but there's so much about this game that feels kinda unfinished. I absolutely despise the freestyle solos and having it constantly revert back to them without a TURN THIS SHIT OFF FOREVER option frustrates me to no end.

The on-disc songs are a joke. They are the absolute worst in a lot of cases with that Dream Genie song being one the least fun things to play/listen to I have ever encountered.

I remember hearing that the career mode is almost like an RPG at one point. I'm still trying to find the RPG stuff... Maybe I'm missing a patch or something.
