Hmmm. Interesting.

While browsing the net today, I stumbled upon a story that, even though I am not a huge fan of the series, raised my eyebrows until they hit the sky.

"According to a Tokyo Game Show report from Japanese investment research firm Morningstar, Metal Gear Solid 4 may find its way to the Xbox 360 after all. Morningstar published a general article covering multiplatform trends that features a quote from a Konami public relations representative that should fuel rumors for months to come. The rep is quoted as saying, regarding MGS4, "We're actively looking into a release for the Xbox 360." While this isn't a confirmation of it coming, it does lend hope to those Xbox 360 owners who haven't plunked down money on a PS3." -IGN.com

To be honest, I don't think they could create a port that would look as good as it was on the PS3 since it was specially made to use the Blue-Ray technology. Even if one day it did come over to the 360, it wouldn't find itself dropping onto my disc tray.

In other news, Dead Space comes out today and that game looks pretty cool but also scary as hell. You see, I have a problem playing games that are full of suspense. My nerves can only take so much and that is why I was never able to complete Resident Evil 1 and 2 and Doom 3. Call me a chicken all you want, but when it comes to these types of games, they hit their mark at creating a game that has a perfectly scary atmosphere.

Finally, there was a game that hit WiiWare yesterday called World of Goo. I saw that the game was $15 and decided to check out the reviews for it and so far, it is at 95% from 2 sources. Reading IGN's review, since it is the only electronic source that was on gamerankings, I was amazed to see that they considered the game to almost be highly supurb on every aspect. I may give it a download sometime in the future, but with my backlog of games and lack of money, I just may have to resort to suffering instead.
