I really loved the Nemesis system and hope more games going forward will adopt a similar practice. The random stories that were generated through playing were far better than the mediocre main story line.
Will still have the same bad simulation and the small maps. Always online was just one of the problems with that game, and nothing will change that. Maxis made a deeply flawed game and they need to seriously rethink their design before making a new simcity.
Skipped three because it looked lackluster. So I am not burned out on the series and I had zero investment in the Desmond story line and am actually looking forward to this game. The reviews have me optimistic and the points that people are liking are what interest me with this game. Going to wait those three weeks to get it on PC though. Really can't go back to playing on my 360 after building my gaming rig...

The fuck is wrong with people...
It is not an issue I really care about at all, but that is why you can simply ignore it. I really don't get all the hate and rage people can have for strangers who have done no ill will towards you. If you don't like the message someone is saying, either ignore them or try to have a reasonable dialogue regarding it. Resorting to name calling and personal threats not only doesn't argue your case, but makes you and your side look incapable of actually having a reasonable discussion regarding said issue.
I still plan to sit out the console launches this year. All the games I am interested in will either release on PC or they are "looking into a possible PC release" (looking at you Ubisoft and Bungie).
