The same thing is true for hollywood as well, is it not? How many leading men can you think of that represent the caricature of a man's man? Not many. Even in the music industry this is true. The standard for what a successful male and even a female in society is supposed to look like has changed a lot in the last 50 years. And I imagine it will change again in the next 50 years.
