Fun fact: the music in this game is redone for the game to avoid licensing and other funk, and sounds a little bit "off" for that reason. In a lot of ways, I find it a bit better. Also the one more kiss song heard in one of the areas is a cover/spin on an already cover/spin from the movie of that Ink Spots song. Out of the three versions this game's version is my favourite : - ).
Another thing is, the game has a random set of steps meaning no session (in theory) would be the same as the other with "random" story variations. I think it also has to do with what personality you select McCoy with. I loved this game as a kid so so much, I still have a boxed copy of it somewhere stored away underneath a mountain of other old PC game boxes.

I've whined a lot lately as a lot of others have before and will after, but man its like a fever dream after a bad dosage of seafood or Chinese.
Definitely carthartic at this point and a stranger's opinion definitely does not matter to the passerbys, but I think the stuff I enjoyed from giant bomb were from years ago and haven't been able to enjoy anything gbw has done in a couple of years except Brad playing doom, and some of the Garfield stuff. We went from butt city and setting up V's to old tired men looking bored and eager to get off work. I really like some of the gbe stuff, the energy and vibes is all there, people dunk on Dan but dudes still got energy, enthusiasm and entertainment almost 6 years later. Abby in the point and click atmosphere is the best, and definitely made me spend lots of time replay games of the same caliber. Playdates for the most part of been real cool. Alex perpetually feels like he's that guy who wasn't supposed to come to work that day and let's everyone knows but yet it seems to somehow work. Mass Alex was good for the most part.
But then watching this stuff and the other end of the year content is pretty baffling, just seems more of an video games teleprompt mixed in with some antics I don't really crack a smile at. I have become the boomer, destroyer of worlds. I mean its just a site about video games but I guess you feel like you gotta say something or a few things after years of watching it / paying for it. I'm confused, maybe its because I haven't paid attention to the format over the years as I have always found myself busy during this time or just very indifferent to the opinion pieces, but why are they just going yay or nay on an assortment of games, like if Left Alive is that big of a mess (I enjoyed it once you get passed the awful forced stealth early stages) why does it have 5 minutes of fame? Hah I'm just one of those Ace Combat fans that's just bitter and ready to go to war for it :P
I've been playing through all the nancy drew games because of Abby's enthusiam for them, my love of adventure games and bad games (in a good way) and have been having fun. I also did play the new one and hahahaha wow its awful. I am relieved that Abby dislikes it, pretty baffling when I tried it.
Man, this mech conversation bums me the hell out. As someone who's really deep into the genre, the only things coming up being Eva and the first Pacific Rim is a bummer. There's like 50+ years of that stuff! It's all really cool! Watch old Gundam! Watch Gunbuster! Watch Giant Robo: The Day the Earth Stood Still!
Also Pacific Rim: Uprising was better.

Literally recently just bought all of it (there was an insanely discounted sale) so it's on my personal list as I haven't seen it yet!
I am a fan of the original series, OVAs, and Mellowlink. I will let you make your mind up for the later material. :) happy holidays gamer
