Baldur's Gate 1/2 cant recommend  these games enough, my all time favorite RPGs, especially 2, if only for Minsc and his space hamster Boo one of the best characters in any rpg ever. 
 
I would also second checking out good old games (GOG.com) some classics on there all at a reasonable price.

I don't think its really bigoted to be slightly bothered by someone claiming to know something as unknowable as a afterlife, to claim to know such a thing really shuts down any level of debate.

Although it does take a special kind of dedication to your crazy to strap explosives to yourself.
