Yeah i guess that's the thing crunch i mean i don't even like metal gear or final fantasy much so i have less choices for good PS3 games. Oh and iNfamous is set to come out summer time so that's not exactly ages.

I was not meaning to whine just trying to figure out why people are so excited. The demo seemed ok but really nothing spectacular there's so many shooters out there i don't understand how this is so much better.

I really  want to like this game I'm just not that excited for it but it wouldn't be the first game i was skeptical of and loved.

I am actually excited at the thought of a ps3 game i actually want to play online

because if you own a ps3 the pickings are slim ;)

I don't understand why people automatically assume that just because the original game wasn't as good as expected the sequel can't be better.

But basically what The Shame said, most of us have tried the demo now, most of us have read the reviews, most of us are simply excited for a good game. Oh no.

  I think I have a low bar to pass on loving games because I loved the first one to death and am sure to love the second one better.

Oh stop whining, if you dont care then theres no point expressing that on this forum.  Unless you want to be convinced otherwise, in which case read some of the reviews here: http://www.metacritic.com/games/platforms/ps3/killzone2. People are excitied about killzone 2 because word of mouth is that its actually a pretty good game.

That and its one of the few PS3 releases at this time of the year, the games you mentioned arent going to be playable for ages.

Why should i care about Killzone 2?

I don't understand why everyone cares so much about a game that is a sequel to a less than stellar game.

It almost seems as if people are just excited because the game looks pretty and that apparently is supposed to mean something.

Maybe my mind will be changed when i play it but i just dont get all the hype and such when we have games like Uncharted 2,God of War III and iNfamous coming out on the PS3 This year.
