Agreed - I know you guys are pros. Some more aggressive Limiters on the mics would go a long way.
Please don't let this video turn you off of the game. I've played it for 3 hours yesterday and I'm loving it. Super tense and atmospheric, the sound design is fantastic. If you're patient and careful (and willing to explore) the game can be super cool.
Jeff seemed confused that his sniper shots weren't hitting, even with an apparent head-shot. My first guess was bullet drop, but if it has been removed, then I'm not sure what the problem was. Strange.
I just realized one of my big issues playing console games is all I have is a 4k monitor and since ps4 doesn't have any audio Jacks my sound comes from the monitor which is awful since it's a monitor speaker. Any way someone knows to get klipsch computer speakers to work with a ps4? I remember plugging them into the monitor (acer predator 32xbk1) wouldn't work and haven't been able to find a great solution.
The PS4 controller has a built-in headphone port on the bottom. I usually just plug headphones or some regular PC speakers into that with an auxiliary cable! There's a headphone volume slider in the 'hold PS4 button' sub menu.
