What has me optimistic is that this is being developed by Vicarious Visions, who have done some really great remasters lately with the Crash and Spyro stuff. The trailer is awesome and got me pretty hyped to check this out when it releases. Glad they got the licenses to the old soundtrack.

@abysswalker: I'm not a fan of the freeze animation before every killing blow. It really breaks up the flow of the combat. The game seemed like Samurai Red Dead, not that that's a bad thing but it's not what I was expecting after the initial reveal. I was expecting more deliberate one on one fights with deeper combat mechanics.

@mikewhy: I don't see why that's so cringey. Why wouldn't I take the money I would've spent on a new console and reinvest it into upgrading my PC where I can play almost all the same games at (much) higher fps?

It looks great and everything, but if next gen can't do better than 30 fps I'm not going to even bother with it.

Yeah, I'm super ok with it. I think the game looks amazing about 95% of the time. There's the occasional blurry texture or weird thing here or there, and yeah when you're sprinting and come to a sudden stop the textures can take a second to load, but overall I think it's a phenomenal looking game. Really excited to see how it will improve on the PS5.

I guess east coast affluent liberals came to the realization that their lives are pretty good. They have a good job with health care benefits. They paid off their student loans if they had any at all. They're more than happy to push the agenda of climate change, social justice, and general woke-ism, but as the old axiom says they voted with their pocketbook. So why flip things on its head and vote for Bernie? Biden is a safe candidate who will mostly maintain their status quo and is like a cuddly blanket to help them sleep at night without offering any real change. *Yawn*

I'd be hard pressed to come up with a game that has less appeal amongst the entirety of the GB staff than Football Manager 2019.
