@nintendoeats: Nice! You'll certainly make it harder to catch you with the 1060. :) I need to get a bigger power supply if I want to put my old GTX 770 in my server and let it crunch work units as well, but I'm not sure when I'll get around to that.

For anyone considering getting in on the action, it's very easy to set up and configure so that it's only running when your computer is idle. As soon as I come back to my computer it pauses until I'm gone for ~5 minutes, then resumes. No interference with games, work, etc. It will cause your computer to generate more heat constantly, though. You can also set it to a "light" work mode, where it only uses about 50% of your GPU so it generates less heat / power draw.

With all the GTX 700+ cards out there, we should be able to significantly increase our work units even with just a couple more people joining in.

Pinball cabinets shown: Lucky Strike, Ding Dong, Big Ben, Wild Wild West, Teacher's Pet, Super-Flite, Aztec, Quick Draw, Skylab, Jumping Jack, Space Odyssey, and Buck Rogers.

They also had an unpowered Zaxxon cabinet, as well as a Pac-Man table, Aero Fighters, and Sky Shark.

I just received and installed the ASUS GTX 1080 8GB ROG STRIX OC Edition and it's estimating my PPD at around 920,000....

@jeffrud: Not sure, but Folding@Home is a pretty worthwhile cause! If you think of the genome as the parts of a biological machine, proteins and how they fold are essentially the instruction manual for how the machine works. We know far less about proteomics than we do about genetics and the genome (which is still very little.) Folding@Home directly contributes to understanding a wide breadth of biological functions (and diseases).
