this and demo derby are my favorite series! The amount of history that is not only in those but from the stories Jeff, Brad, and Dan can tell make these so great!

Also the semi-cringy campiness of 90s and early 00s video game culture creates some beautiful nostalgia.

Great assessment of the game Alex! I have the same feeling as you do with this game. My only issue is the amount of crashing that has been occurring as I play this on my PS4. Even with the recent 1.04 patch my game has crashed five times in the two hour period I was attempting to play it. It may be my PS4, as it is LOUD when I play this game.Though for a game I want to be immersed in these crashes really dissuade me from playing it.

Also I love your planet naming! It makes me thing of some dystopian future where all planetary bodies are referred to by handles from our mega-conglomerate sponsors.

Above average AAA release sequel to an above average AAA release; without any major technical issues. I am in. This seems to be more of an extension to the mechanics found in Deus Ex: HR, rather than an evolution of them. It has been a while since I have played Deus Ex: HR and it should be fun to get back in this world. Its unfortunate though that this game will be mostly set in Prague, I was hoping for some diversity in the setting (i.e Hengsha from the previous game). Though maybe the focus in the setting has opened itself to immersiveness I'll have to wait and see.

@cook66: I'm not 100% sure what he was referencing, but I remember reading a kotaku article a while back about chess

http://www.kotaku.com.au/2016/03/how-chess-has-changed-over-the-last-150-years/

Also I think Rorie was talking about the current world champion Magnus Carlsen.

This game seems to be on the same level as an RPG like alpha protocol, a fun mid-teir game, with some points of brilliance (I.e. The combat switching viability seems interesting). I may pick it up when it is on sale, and probably even really like it. As for now it seems too pricey to commit too.

This was my 1st elusive target mission I have done, but remembering parts of the map helped me a lot with this too. Talk about quite the introduction. Really fun though!

As the briefing said they target brother would have a wristwatch I decided to store the silenced sniper rifle I unlocked in the apartment dropbox in case I had a use for it. I went and knocked out the waiter guy on the third floor so I could use his balcony as a sniper spot if need be. I then randomly ran into the brothers walking by an ice cream parlor. As they sat down at the table I noticed the wristwatch and also, just how prime of a sniping position I made in the apartment complex where my sniper rifle was. Sprinted my way to the apartment, removed the sniper rifle from the box, and ran up to the third floor. By the time I got there the brothers were starting to walk away from the table. I aimed at the brother who I remembered would be the one with the watch, as he was sitting facing the apartment and "one shot, one kill" dropped the gun in the apartment and casually walked out to the exit feeling like the badass the whole way. What a fun idea.
