 Long story. The name comes from a mixture of two names Lord Henry and
Magni. I have been using LordHenry for casual games on the net like
chess hearts and other on the net. Lord Henry is one of my favorite
characters in literature, the wonderful immoral Lord Henry Wotton who
corrupts and influences Dorian Gray, with repartee like “The only way
to get rid of a temptation is to yield to it“ and “My dear boy, no
woman is a genius. Women are a decorative sex. They never have anything
to say, but they say it charmingly. Women represent the triumph of
matter over mind, just as men represent the triumph of mind over
morals”.

But when I started to play war games the name didnt seem apt , so since
I have been fascinated form an early age by nordic mythology the name
Magni seemed to fit better. Magni was the son of Thor, and already as a
toddler was stronger than his father, but what I liked the most about
him was that he was one of the few that survived the nordic Armageddon
(Ragnarrök) and was to build a brave new world from the ruins. Plus
Magni comes from the word máttur that means power, and is used in
modern icelandic for something amazing.

Because Magni is fairly popular name in Iceland and icelanders have a
good access to the net sometimes magni was taken, so I added Hr in
front it is like Mr and the closest thing we have as lord in Icelandic.


So thus HrMagni

looks like i have to go to Laugardagshöll  this friday and watch some carnage. I will be routing for Björn.

 No, I do not have a gun, but I have crane with a wrecking ball. I use a Link Belt HC 238 with a 5000 pound wrecking ball, I know its an old one but I am into the classics.
 I do not use it for work, it is only a hobby. I really just like to swing that ball around and practice precision.

Sometimes I build little walls that I knock down; it is such a kick slamming something with my wrecking ball, and is a huge stress reliever.

But most importantly I know and feel comforted be the fact  if there comes up a situation where I really need to knock a house down, I have my wrecking ball.
