@lokez352: Thanks for the chuckle. Even if PUBG swings hard into an exploitative pay to win gambling scheme within the next few years, it will still have a large player base compared to other communities. I'm dying for people to start up Nidhogg all the time. Even if millions left, a community of tens of thousands is more than enough to sustain itself.
I cannot fathom how people think Dan was being rude towards Abby during this debate. He was composed, articulate and sincere. He asked questions that needed to be addressed and was beyond respectful.
After hearing Jeff and a handful of forums talk about Armstrong for years, my expectations were met. What a fun villain! He is a worthy final boss in the Metal Gear saga.
The panel needed to give users a play by play of Palmer's actions. Tip toeing around what he did was infuriating. Just tell your audience what happened!
The amount of hatred I see from some users over a person's preference on who to vote for is saddening. I think Jeff was the only sane one during that discussion. Palmer should have supported his candidate through less scandalous means.
@zombaholic:I mentioned earlier that your message was well written, but I'll be the yang to your yin about the skin feeling "weird for her to wear". There are numerous other heroes who have outfits that are outside their culture; all of which are aesthetically pleasing. If the heroes were limited to costumes from their heritage, Overwatch would be a far less appealing game with a limited scope.
I understand your frustration over the mixed iconography on Pharrah's armor, but you have to understand that this is not a product grounded in reality, and that some players love even the culturally bastardized costumes.
The real problem I have was mentioned earlier regarding Austin's assertion that Blizzard needed to question themselves internally to such ludicrous degrees. Acting like an armchair art designer and ponder over how "concerning" aesthetics are is infuriating.
Such behavior made me cancel my membership after all these years.
