While that one e-mail regarding the Overwatch skins was well written, that reader needs to take a chill pill. Even if the skins are cultural appropriation, they deserve to exist and more should be made. The heroes should not be limited to their nationality. Why wouldn't people want a larger pool of atheistic options to choose from?
Austin's assertion that people should internally question themselves at Blizzard was far more troubling. They clearly put a lot of thought and time into their product and his armchair analysis was aggravating.
EDIT: If someone is troubled by the addition of a Maori skin, they should probably know how to pronounce the word.
Well it looks like shit is about to hit the fan regarding the Rapp kerfuffle. Inglorious people have apparently found out what she was moonlighting as. Escort services fall into a grey area of the law. Anecdotally, a colleague of mine did performances on webcam and worked for a school. Once the school found out about her second profession, they dropped her in the blink of an eye. Nintendo might be just as crazy when it comes to optics like that.
Edit: @anonymous_jesse, you should never fear being banned for saying pedophilia is wrong. Silencing people over such a universal standard is morally reprehensible.
@depecheload: As Jeff himself said last Tuesday, there is no way you can tell if Nintendo is lying, so don't act like your the man on the inside who knows how it REALLY went down.
@onekillwonder_: People at many levels on this site have determined what type of humor is acceptable. This place used to feel like the wild west when it came to content and commentary.
