Something funny about Danny inheriting the machine that had issues displaying the red colour from someone who likely never noticed.

It's nothing short of incredible that we can go from Old Beach and the origins of emojis to the treatment of sex workers without really changing the show at all. The format work and the tone can shift to suit it. Really great work and I'm glad to see it on this site.

This is an absolute joy to watch. I think the bg music and clever editing go an awful long way too, so kudos on that front.

A live finale would be incredible.

Great second episode. Bit of a shame that it's such a cold intro/outro considering it's a show about music. Although the mic unplugging at the end was funny.

I don't think they spent enough time talking about the reverb-b-b-b-b. It's hilariously much!

@cameraguykurt: Would you describe Ranking of Fighters as good vibes and overall positivity too? Or the hours of content around The Quiet Man? Or terrible 90's music?

I'm sure there's some degree of writing that comes with making Albummer, but I do sort of wish we could have seen some of their crew's production chops on show. Their skits are really fun and it really reminds me of the GB folks when they had the time/means to produce just some wacky stuff.

The 2MTLN folk seem real cool. I certainly would love to see one (or multiple) of these folks drop in on a Bombcast and/or UPF at some point. In this instance, it seems like Jeff B is a big fan of theirs, but more generally, I wouldn't want content producers to pass by the GB crew like two ships in the night. Maybe Danny being the exception has tainted that headspace? I know they'd said that Danny being a less rotating chair on the Bombcast wasn't going to be the norm for the other freelancers, but I just hope there is some wiggle room for light visits even?

@jasperkazai: Why is this here? Because they have the money to throw around now and to give platforms to new voices. They don't have the staff to churn out all that new content themselves and it doesn't look as though there is much urgency from above to replenish those numbers.

They've talked a bit about wanting to essentially give money to their friends to try weird stuff and I think this counts as that. Plus, looking at the skits these folks have done, it's really not that dissimilar to the old GB GOTY stuff. I'm all for it (even if that isn't exactly what's being produced here.

I'm perfectly happy with one out of the 5+ new shows announced being different to what I'm used to on this site....
