Agreed: not at all disappointed, between Dark Sous II, Bayonetta 2, Dangan Ronpa (I and II), Dragon Age Inquisition, Transistor, and The Vanishing of Ethan Carter, I have had more games to play than I've had things to complain about.
Being able to play Binding of Isaac while my power was out this evening was pretty nice. And playing Dragon Age Inquisition from my bed last night wasn't bad either.
Look, I don't know where else to post this. I'm sure there are plenty of great write-ups and blogs coming about this game but I wanted to mention that I've failed this song at least 10 times:

Well I have to admit that Patreon pitch he has there speaks pretty strongly to any of us that might be pretty fed up with current state of video game journalism.
Damn you Kindle owners. The iBook version is $10 (and even the paperback on Amazon is $8.99). I bought it anyway because of how much I was intrigued by all that Crichton talk in the quicklook, and how much I tend to like really intelligent sci-fi fiction.
Looks like I'll need to re-up my premo membership to partake in the nerdgasm bookclubiness though. :-/
