My friend from the upper peninsula of Michigan just passed along this gem. Anyone from Michigan, Minnesota, or maybe even Canada might appreciate this musical number:

Could not be a more accurate representation of the UP of Michigan.

Hmm, yeah, I remember enjoying my time with the game too. Although I did come to it late so I already had my expectations set by all the criticism.

I'm not bothered by the weird disjointed parts and weak voice acting -- that actually gave it a weird bad dream feel which I kind of liked. And I remember laughing so hard at some of those classic scenes: the angrier and angrier Jaydon got at Blake reminded me of the angrier and angrier Sheriff Hague got at Wray in Planet Terror. All I can say is that if you come into it expecting no more than a B-movie level of storytelling you probably won't be disappointed.

Button style so far. This is my first exposure to any Theatrhythm, and I'm only like 4 hours in, but I'm hoping I can make button mode work for me even on the field events. Going to try 1-handed next.

Yeah I was so pumped to hear this at TGS. This, Bloodborne, and Persona 5 are my 2015. Everything else is just gravy.

Yeah, I finally got a chance to play the first time rally and thought it was a lot of fun, a cool change of pace for GT6. I hope they add some more events using the new course, time rally or otherwise.

I think GT6 is the last thing keeping my PS3 hooked up so I'm happy they keep adding interesting content to the game.

Yup. If you didn't get the first one, buy this version. More songs to choose from and a lost of the ones available in Curtain Call were DLC in the original.

That said, yes 14 is represented. And the have the theme from Titan last phase. Play it on ultimate to feel Titan Ex level wrath all over again.

Also bought collectors edition.

Thanks, this thread reminded me to order the game on Amazon. The original almost got me to buy a 3DS back before I had one. Now that I have one picking up this version seems like a no brainer.

Probably still Dark Souls II by a landslide, and that DLC keeps coming. <3

Yeah, where the hard math comes into it mine are without a doubt Terraria and Binding of Isaac.

But the first thing that came to mind reading this thread was Nier and how I found it at the bottom of a Best Buy bargain bin for like less than $5 and played it through repeatedly and nearly platinumed it and how it touched my soul etc., etc. One of the only games where I said "I kind of wish I paid full price for it."

Yeah, same for me after college. And the thought of voice chat with randoms never sounds very appealing to me. It seems like there are just enough games with workable anonymous multiplayer (Dark Souls, Journey, NFS Most Wanted, etc.) to keep that itch scratched for me. But I understand shooters are much more fun in party chat with friends.

Posting here is a good start I think, this community seems pretty respectful and groups are always forming up for the newer games.

Another possibility is to browse Twitch and see if you come across any streamers you think you could get along with, and get to know them and their followers.
