I played the original Metal Gear Solid in 2014 after touching every other MGS games branded "A Hideo Kojima game" at the time and still regardes it as my favoritr in the series. Probably because I am someone who feels fed up with the whole "Kojima is a genius" bullshit and that 1998 game contains the least of that bullshit. MGS3 is a close second. Phantom Pain is an enjoyable sandbox and totally different beast from what the series is known for.
Thank you for taking the time to write this informative review. The Last of Us on PS3 is the only Naughty Dog game I've ever played and it will remain that way in the foreseeable future. Your exhaustion caused by this sequel is likely the same as mine caused by the original.

What worries me more is that id might put the Slayer up against more than one of them during one arena fight in the expansions, as if dancing with one of those ain't tiring enough.
Guess no one likes the Maraudar no matter how they rate this game as a whole...It's shame that id turned what could have been the showdowns viewers most excited about in action movies into the least fun part to play.

On the topic of Tokyao Mirage Sessions, I am looking at my Japanese Wii U copy of the game, the one with characters one year younger and more revealing outfits. Despite all that, CERO rated it B, 12 and up, for the same season as PSW. Wonder how much the 2 potential up skirt shot I almost got factor in.
Guess the good Docotor Austin Walker is finally an Influencer. He accomplished as a Vice contractor what he did not as a full time Giantbomb employee, pushing his favorite game of the year into the slot of GB GOTY.
@crimsonjester: Both game are published by Sony, both powered by a game engine called Decima. This very likely is nothing more than a promotion for Horizon Zero Dawn.
