Games I'm Looking Forward To in 2016
The verdict isn't always out if these games are actually slated for this year, but here's a list regardless.

A sci-fi grand strategy from Paradox Development Studios, makers of Europa Universalis IV and Crusader Kings 2 and ruiners of my life, Stellaris looks to be an ambitious, interesting foray into space strategy that will finally let me achieve my dream of being a tyrannical space ruler, crushing the common man beneath my dura-steel space fist.

The forth in the series of hardcore WWII grand strategy games from Paradox, HoI IV will still be incredibly complex and the most opaque of PDS' grand strategy games, but will attempt to also straddle the line of being an accessible, more casual wargaming experience. Regardless, get ready to get your helmets on and fire up your T34s this year.

The sequel to the excellent Deus Ex reboot/prequel Human Revolution, Mankind Divided promises more stealth action with even more freedom in how you can tackle a level, plus a continuation of Adam Jensen's cyber-conspiracy story. I definitely asked for this.

A prehistoric/fantasy game where you can ride a bear and possess a bird all in service of breaking up primordial ICP concerts. Me think sound good. Me think sound good indeed.

After a long time in the pot, Ubisoft's Tom Clancy's The Division will be coming to a store near you in March. Early beta impressions seem good, but like the mutated smallpox responsible for trashing New York in the game, whether it will catch on and get big remains to be seen.

Like Deus Ex, I'm excited to do more stealth-action in the sequel to sleeper hit Dishono(u)red, which teleported and stabbed its way into my heart when I first played through its Half-Life 2-esque London in 2013.

Red Dead 2 has been rumoured as of late, perhaps this will be the year Rockstar gets...back in the saddle...of a Western game?
