What Moves You?

Boredom ensues! what type of music do you all like? here is a quick list of mine

•  Yeah Yeah Yeahs

Are a 3 piece from NYC. They are some where along the lines of Indie Rock/Punk. Karen O the lead singer usually stubbles around stage drunk wearing crazy outfits that Bjork won’t even wear!

• Pixies

The Pixies are arguably the Birth parents of grunge rock. Predating Nirvana this little band from managed to inspire the likes of Nirvana, Radiohead, U2 and many many more. They're success didn't really end well tho, the band wound up all hating each other when it was all said and done. The Pixies did wind up doing a reunion tour in 2004 which sold out in about 5 mins.

• Nine Inch Nails

One of the few bands i still like from when i was 16 years old and stupid. Trent Reznor the master mind behind NIN, has still managed to capture the sound track of my life. The good and the bad.

• Queens Of The Stone Age

Call them Stoner Rock if you will, But QOTSA has managed to rise to top in the last few years of one the great Rock act of this generation thus far. Not band for group of guys who all started playing together way back in the 80's.

• Prototypes

I don't know much about this band other then that they're French they and make some crazy music. One of They're songs was in a Ipod add on TV.  Thats how i found them.

• Crystal Castles
  

Another band i really don't know too much about other then they're from Europe and use a lot of  old school 8 bit sounds in they're music. I found them through Jeff's blog way back in the day.

So there you have it. Just a few bands that came to mind. What do you love?
