I just want to shout out Y3 because after playing all the games before and after, it was a nice change of pace in a lot of ways. The story is a bit muddled (even by Yakuza standards) but I enjoyed the characters. I respect the hell out of a bold choice to make a big chunk of the game just hanging out with your kids at the orphanage. No one takes risks like that anymore.

But if you're mostly looking for the humor, yeah you might want to skip Y3. I think there are some great scenes in it, but I enjoyed it for being so different. It probably is the worst of the franchise, but I don't think someone should skip it. I think it was also the shortest in the franchise. At least personally I knocked it out over a long weekend.

Kiwami 2 is my favorite. Best gameplay and one of the better stories.

I haven’t seen all his videos but love what I have. He spends an unhealthy amount of time dissecting design decisions.

But if we did, I wouldn’t be surprised if WWE pays people such as Dan like crap with few benefits.

Or maybe Dan appreciates the core concept of making money while you can. He’s a hard working dude after all.

This thread is mostly a venn diagram of people who miss Dan and dislike twitch monetization culture.

I miss Dan, but I’m ok without watching his Twitch because Twitch isn’t really my thing. I can see why people who miss him a lot and dislike aspects of Twitch are in a personal hell.

But it’s hard for me to blame Dan for engaging in the Twitch hustle. His whole career has been building his brand. Of course he’s going to make money off it.

Out of the six cats in my life, the one that looked like Tater was the best. Just a pure lap cat that never felt like spitefully knocking over your glass of water at 4am.
