Grievous and Bristol...classic.
Look, to be honest, this is a history-making election regardless, and I think that either way we go, it's going to say a lot about our nation finally growing the balls to put either a black man or a woman in office. Therefore, either way...sure, politically, we may be screwed, but when it comes to being a bit more open-minded about things, it's all win, ya know?
As for McCain, I've supported and backed him for 12 years now, and I'm ready to see him get into office. I fully believe he's the right man for the job, despite any shortcomings he's had in the past. I look more at what a person has done in the last 4-6 years than what someone did 10-15 years ago (*cough*KEATINGFIVE*cough*).
I look at Obama's record, and there's quite a few things that I can say, even as a Republican, would make him good for this country. I don't think that McCain nor Palin can even argue too hard against that. At the same time, my views are based around the conservative ideal far heavier than the liberal side, and so I have to go with my gut, my brain, and my heart when I'm going to waste my mark on a ballot that eventually isn't going to matter much for more than a popular vote anyways. = D
Even McCain and Palin would tell you that this country's voting system is completely and utterly broken.
