Since Mark already said he won't be doing the Joker voice again, it won't be that great if they do. And the idea of Arkham World sounds more like Batman Inc. which sounds a bit odd
I am not too sure about this video. It would be nice to see a change in the series and get rid of the magic aspect about it. It looks like they are trying to go with trying to design the characters to make them more "real", as if these twisted people could actually exist in the real world. The fact that the so called "Sub-Zero" pic has been around a long while makes me think this could be a fake, the person might have been working on the project, the person might have stolen the image, or many other possibilities.
I guess what I am having a hard time beleaving is that it looks like Scorpion is the "good guy". Shouldn't it be the other way around? Shouldn't Sub-Zero be after Scorpion for killing his brother? If this is a tease for their next game, it would seem not to be a fighting game, but rather an action game much like with Mortal Kombat Mythologies: Sub-Zero. Perhaps they are expanding on the series with different Mythologies?
When I heard of this, my first thought was "That is pretty sweet, a virtual Arcade on my Xbox." However now I am seeing it as something rather pointless. I was born in the 80's, and I didn't like those games back THEN, so why would I want them NOW? Also what about all my xbox live games? Will they make it so I can show those off in my arcade as well? Are they going to re-release another version of Pacman, and if they do, then the original xbox live version you bought becomes useless.
I will not be buying any of the current games out, maybe when they get closer to the 90's and have better selections. I would so love it if they added the old Golden Axe series on there or that AvP arcade game they had back in the day. If memory serves me right, Game Room's original concept was to be a Dreamcast simulator but then they said "Why not emulate everything?" Does this mean we will see Dreamcast and Genisis games? One can only wonder.
when I first looked at this I thought it was very nicely done cut scenes until I noticed that in some of the clips that beast (griffin?) would have spears in it one moment then none the next. To me it looks like they are combining the mechanics from their two past games into this. From what I saw your a boy with his pet either exploring or escaping from some sort of lost city where the beast is used as both for travel and solving puzzles. I need to be honest and say I never played the first two games but this one is looking at keeping the style and feel of the same mythical world they have been building on and I would love to see more of it.
If Capcom and Mavel teamed up again, and they took the new Street Fighter 4 engine to make a new MVC, I am going to be looking for the four horsemen cause god would never allow something so fucking awsome happen again!
