Looks gooood. I think I'm now bummed over the episodic part just because it won't allow for a "Dan & Brad play Hitman" feature. Well, this particular Hitman at least.
I'd tentatively be interested in coming back and QLing the subsequent maps as they're released. Definitely gonna play all of them one way or the other, this game is good.
Blood Money is the obvious standout of that franchise. A lot of the Hitman franchise is not the greatest, but Blood Money has some of the coolest levels and scenarios I've seen.
It also has possibly the best tutorial level in gaming history.
I pretty much wrote this game off for dead when I heard Square-Enix was going the episodic route. If the episodes aren't bogged down by delays, this might be really something special.
And "Curtains Down" and especially "Flatline" from Blood Money are a fucking masterclass in level design. I just loved just making my handiwork look like an accident.
For as much as it drops the ball with its portrayal of mental illness, I feel like the game (for the most part*) does a surprisingly good job at respectfully portraying gay (Trevor, aka the best character in the game) and bisexual (Curtis, as is brought up at about 13 minutes in) men.
Not even in a "for its time" way, it seems like it's STILL one of the few competently handled examples in games. So P:PoF, good on you!
*I think there's some big exception at one point, unfortunately.

If you want a killer adventure game that gets mental illness and depression right, check this out. There is some fucked up content in this game, which would make it perfect for Giant Bomb East to do a Playdate or a full playthrough.
