I think it's ok if you don't have the money to buy video games. You need money for food, house, family...
But if you're going to buy a game I've come to conclusion that you should support the small guys. They're dieing out. Especially if the small guy produces and excellent product. You want them to keep going wouldn't you?
Kane & Lynch was a well funded project as well. Doesn't mean it will turn out well. It's probably going to have a blockbuster singleplayer that you can beat in 13 hours. Multiplayer won't be able to compete for the fact it's on ps3 (everyone knows ps3 online gameplay is inferior to 360/pc) and all the other fps' with near perfect multiplayer.
Plus if you go by their track record it aint the greatest so you shouldn't be endorcing it so much.
"anyone who bases the possible merits of killzone 2 off of the quality of killzone 1 is sorely misguided. Your comparing a borderline indie game with a massively funded SCEE project that through previews has been said over and over including 1up on thier podcast, games night and 1up show that its polished as hell even when they only had the preview build.
Feel free to call me out on this one but i think this game is going to make alot of haters eat thier words.

It probably isn't going to be that bad. Single player will probably be solid but the multiplayer cannot compete with gears, halo, and cod. Multiplayer is the most important thing to me. I can just rent a game and beat it's single player. Like mgs, or assassins creed, or gta4
