This is pretty old but it isn't just video games that bring behaviour like this. If you watch television, and go to CNN all they show is war, people killing eachother without sorting their problems out with reason.

Playing a killing game 18 hours a day probably isn't that great either but you can't blame it solely on Halo. Their are many shooters out there that have people doing stuff like this. I doubt you'll see a WoW player go on a killing frenzy though.

Watchmen isn't a novel so it isn't considered a book
