We had our best turn-out for a fleet yet - around 27 pilots, with Teya FCing. We got into the system just before the Nyx undocked. Time dilation was at 10% - the lowest it can go - due to the fact that there were over 2100 pilots in system at one point. Everything was so slow it felt like flying in molasses. It looked really cool though. We got one merlin kill after he started attacking one of the fleet members. I'd say we were in there for about 20 minutes before most of the fleet was destroyed by other ships, and no one could get back into the system because the stargates were closed and tons of people were camping. The Nyx's armor only ever got as low as 70-75%. Apparently PL was repping the Nyx. It actually had to self-destruct in the end, but there is still a killmail.

In the end it was a record-breaking day both for EVE and for Kite Co. I counted 40 members in corp chat and 90 in the giantbombing channel at one point. Hopefully today's craziness will give people an idea of what makes this game fun and convince even more of them to join Kite Co.

Edit - Awesome video gnu2000!

Well I showed up for round 2 of Thunderdome 20XX: Ships Against Humanity in an Incursus and went PEW PEW PEW until all others perished and I emerged the victor*, an achievement due in no small part to my elite PVP skills having the most expensive ship. It was a fun time for all and I'm looking forward to facing challengers in the next Thunderdome!

*technically Mishirosen won but he doesn't count

Setting up a POS, maybe trying a real gate camp...I'm fine with doing these roams too as long as people keep showing up.

Hello all - I'm a new member - you may know me now as Stewarto in EVE. I figured I should join GB if I'm going to be in a GB corp. I'm a friend of Djorgo's (don't know his GB name) from other parts of the internet, and he invited me.

I'm totally a "veteran" EVE player, but really not at all (my account is 6 years old but I only played off and on for less than a year total). Looking forward to frequent ops/pvp if we can keep it up. The turn-out has been good so far, and I'm impressed with the way its being managed!

For any pilots interested in healing, electronics warfare, or dedicated tackling I'm also working on plans for that. I'll post more info as soon as I make a decision.

I already have some EWAR skills that I was training from years ago, so I'd be interested in that.
