@DoctorWelch: There are a lot of things that are more important to learn as a total new beginner than memory managment. In all honesty as a c++ programmer where its my daily life is to remember where memory gets allocated(always pre-runtime, not during) its not fun at all. If you want some advice, pick up c# and make some awesome games in xna, its much more fun then creating whatever binary search tree you're doing there :).

I always buy games "new" so i dont really care. However i would rather want developers using a more agressive stance against retailers, trying to punish them and also helping others that dont sell used games but i guess this will have to suffice

@Duckbutter: I never pirate a game that i can buy. I have already bought for Deus Ex:HR CE and will be picking it up. After im done with it, the product will be resting my hundreds of games that i have neither pirated or bought used. I will also stop responding to your obvious trolling questions and statements...

I played that leaked version of the new Deus Ex and it sucked balls and ass and ass-balls all at the same time. Poor voice acting, everythings all fuckin gold all the time and shit. I played the Pre-Alpha and loved it. I would suggest that you dont put balls, ass and ass-balls on your computer screen so you can see that Deus Ex is a really good game

I guess the biggest problem i have with comparing DX and AP is that AP is a bad "playing" game while DX isn't. I feel that calling them similar will make a lot of people think that DX is a" bad playing game with a good story", something that is not true. While I certainly can see aspects of the boss design that might be similar, the level design and in general how the combat works is way better in DX

And no one is callng them equal here. Also people are not comparing the original Deus Ex to AP, so that chart is kind of irrelevant :P

But parallels can be drawn between Human Revolution and AP, a lot of them.

While they wouldn't allow PC Gamer to put out a shitty-first review, PC gamer have for years made Deus Ex #1 in their "best game ever made list", which means that they probably hold the original to quite high standards. After the worst sequel ever: DX:IW, i doubt that a publication like PC Gamer would sink that low to accept a lot of money by giving an unmoral review of DX:HR.

Furthermore, I'm getting really sick of these comparisons between Alpha Protocol and Deus Ex:HR. I've played through AP, Deus Ex 1, 2 and the Pre-alpha leaked release of DX:HR and they are not even close in comparison. The only thing i liked about AP was the dialog choices and some effects that occurred because of it, while Deus Ex is a masterpiece in leveldesign, setting and story. Its logical. They were facing so many games that they just could not compete. This will give them more time to both polish the game and hopefully sell more copies :)
