As a huge fan of DD came in with high hopes and really liked the different vibe the show was putting out the first few episodes. Mid way things really got into high gear but quickly fell apart for me the longer it dragged along. I was still feeling good about it around episode 10 but after that Clemons/Simpson thing and then the ending it really left a bad taste in my mouth.
The season really felt like they had 6 great scripts and they stretched them far too long. I pretty much hated all the side characters save Malcolm and even then those extra scenes in the final few episodes with him seemed pointless and only served to anger me as they wasted airtime when all I wanted was main plot.
I'll give it like a 7.5/10 but honestly that's probably raised a point or two solely on Tennant being amazing. Really really disliked the last three episodes.
EQ is still probably at the top but there was something in ffxi that nothing has ever matched. FFXI is still so different to this day as it was then and I lost a large part of my youth to it.
Wow just never did it for me I got my lock to 60 cap and did stuff but it probably is fifth behind FFXIV:ARR and Galaxies. I think the more I play XIV the more I like it's quirks and they keep adding stuff it might get into a 3 way tie with XI and EQ.
@retsuseiba: Really!? I don't remember that at all. When I loaded in it took my CGM and I had to still call it in but my other weps bought me time. Good to know though and great info for those other who also don't know about it. Danke!
@heltom92: You can it's just most didn't see the container next to the building. Just go to the left side of building (facing where the onslaught come from) got on top of the container and GTFO. Now the problem will be is that since she gives you the shitty grom in the CS it forces you to start with said shitty grom even if you enter the mission with something else. Though this doesn't affect the rest of your loadout so you could still come better prepared with grenade launcher and decoys and stuff. .
I want to apologize guys... I think I'm getting too much enjoyment from reading this thread of so many others suffering like I did even months after the game has launched. Can't wait for that four year necro bump from someone who plays this down the line and just posts "Fuck this". xD
