Time for a fashionably late write-up about this year's best downloadable title so far. Bastion is a downloadable title from the Xbox Live Summer of Arcade and it most certainly deserves the attention it has been getting. At its base the game is an Action RPG that shows its depth through simplicity, but the art direction and sound design is where this game really shines.You start the game out waking up in a ruin as "The Kid". The Dishwasher: Vampire Smile is a downloadable title for XBLA. There are two playable characters in the game; The Dishwasher and his psychotic stepsister Yuki. Depending on which character you choose you will have a slightly different story. That doesn’t mean much though as every environment, enemy and boss fight is the exact same no matter which you choose. Yuki’s story is basically a revenge story. Nier is the latest of square-enix’ (publisher) adventures outside of the familiar Final Fantasy franchise.
