Ok entertainment for the price 0

Containment: The Zombie Puzzler is a puzzle game with a zombie theme, if it wasn't already obvious. The game-play at its core is color based, you swap two survivors at a time in order to surround the zombies on the map. Once you surround a zombie, or multiple zombies, with the same color/type of survivor, you kill it. Depending on what kind of zombie it is, that might be it. Also, depending on which type of survivor you kill them with, will give you a chance at a power-up dropping. They vary in u...

A buggy de-volution of the series 0

Assassin's Creed 3 is a stealth and combat focused RPG which switches between modern times and the american revolution. You primarily switch between Desmond Miles, from the previous games, and Connor, a native american. The story starts out slow but eventually picks up slightly. The graphics are improved slightly from the previous iteration, but it is really nothing to write home about. Those improvements are marred by performance issues in the form of a horrible frame-rate during high-action sce...

A great end to the trilogy 0

Mass Effect 3 is a third person shooter and RPG. There is a story mode which wraps up the main story from the first two games as well as a new multiplayer co-op mode.Combat is mostly cover based, firing or using powers will bring you out of cover and leave you vulnerable. Certain enemy explosives will bypass or destroy cover as well. There are a variety of weapons which fit into five different categories; sniper rife, assault rifle, shotgun, smg, or heavy pistol. Each weapon type has its own stre...

Unique detective experience 0

LA Noire is an open world detective game with its own unique feature that makes it stand out from the rest. You play as Cole Phelps, a detective in 1947's Los Angeles. You start as a lowly beat cop and slowly move up to the upper tiers of the detectives as you solve cases and progress the overarching story. There is a persistence element as well, your badge will rank up during the normal course of game-play. When you rank up you can earn intuition points, new outfits, and locations for collectibl...

Darksiders II Review 0

Darksiders two is unique in the fact that it takes the elements from many genres and works them into a cohesive and fun game. It combines the visceral combat of a hack and slash with the weapon, gear, and skill customization of a full blown RPG. It also ads some platforming and puzzle solving to keep things fresh. The art style of the game is fantastic, there is plenty of variance in the art style throughout the game to keep things fresh. Graphically the game is on par with consoles, textures do ...

Diablo III Review 0

Diablo 3 was probably one of the most anticipated games of the modern era, beyond the initial layer of hype is a game that permeates a "more of the same" vibe and caters more to the casual crowd over long-lasting fans of the game.Starting out with the minor elements; the artwork is above average, the environments look good enough for the third-person perspective, the graphics look like they put enough effort in to environmental, character, and spell graphics. The areas are mostly randomized (wit...

Jak & Daxter Collection Review 0

The Jak & Daxter collection consists of the first three Jak & Daxter games in the series. This is not going to be a review of the games themselves, rather the newly created package of the three. The stating price for the three games in the bundle was $30, honestly a great value for three games that each give hours of entertainment. Each differ enough to offer a unique experience between the three. The main attraction in this set is the HD remastering of all of three which were originally ...
