Thoughts on Persona 3

JRPG's, I used to have an obsession with them. Final fantasy 7? I mustv completed that 2 or 3 times. That was back when it came out so I was just a child but still, avid memories. I cant say that I have been too fond of them as of late though. I must say, Lost odysee did absolutly nothing for me. I spend all this time beating this one boss (very early in the game) and i cry out in victory since it was long and hard. All that cry of victory was grabbed from me, torn into pieces and flushed down the toilet when the game decided to revive the stupid boss and have him even deadlier than before with extra health meanwhile, all my characters were on the brink of death with no extra items for healing...thats when i said no.

I heard then that persona 3 is where its at if you want JRPG's. Fortunatly for me, it turned out to be totally awesome. It just does so many things better than what other JRPG's do. You control only one character and leave the rest to the computer. Although this was offputting to hear, when I played it, it just shocked me. I could not believe how no one has ever thought of this. The pacing is just right, the difficultly is perfectly right, the shooting your self in the freaking head to bring out your persona is just freakin right.

I havnt finished this game as of yet. I reckon I'm over half way through it. Its been a while since iv played a game of this length and had the desire to finish it. This looks like the JRPG I was finally looking for. It took a while, but they nailed it. I recommend this to anyone that is looking for a quality RPG.

Now im wondering whether I should get persona 1 and 2.
