I've had the game since day 1 but haven't had much time to play until recently. Just started playing again instead of putting down money for WoW again and am glad I did. Was previously in the spill over GB guild but now that numbers have dwindled I wanted to join in with everyone who was still active. Thanks in advance.
I've listened to 4 different bombcasts while waiting and I'm getting a little tired of it...ESPN the BS Report, Game Scoop, Tested, and now on Major Nelson Radio. What is going on?!
I'll watch this TED talk later out of curiosity, but I'm instantly skeptical when someone tells me something isn't important, but has it or plenty of it. Don't trust a pretty person to tell you looks don't matter, don't trust a rich person to tell you money doesn't matter. I find it hard to believe that you know it doesn't matter, when you've never had to deal with not having it.
I was curious too. It's short, about 8 minutes or so, and interesting if nothing else. Her perspective is actually quite insightful and something little girls who want to be a model should watch. She's just one of the few who won the genetic lottery and realizes that.
@killawogg: From what I've heard and read from AT&T if you have the old unlimited plan you will be able to bring that to the iPhone 5 LTE. It will be soft capped at 5GB a month which is more than I'll ever use so I'm sticking with AT&T now that I know I am still grandfathered in...otherwise that would have led me to look at different phones and carriers.
Just purchased the Xbox version as someone already mentioned it gives you the free season pass on the console versions too. Good deal and if it helps them make another game all the better.
This is brought up way too often--especially as of late. They are still setting up stuff in their new office. Fixing up a new studio, setting up their proper capture equipment, settling in to a new office, working on a site redesign--all in the midst of a slow summer release schedule and Patrick unfortunately losing a family member. Fucking. Chill.
They have their equipment as far as we have been led to believe, they are settled, I don't think Jeff, Brad and Ryan are the ones redesigning the site, and the only person continuing to produce extra content along with his weekly worth reading column is Patrick Klepek who has the biggest reason not to being out of state and getting married along with dealing with his father passing. He put an article up today and the only thing "coming soon" is another article from him tomorrow.
Reading what I wrote I feel like an ass but it's more that I think everyone is tired of hearing excuses and would just like some original content during these summer doldrums.
@Slag: You can only say that for so long though and I had thought Jeff's family stuff was getting better or "resolved". Patrick I completely understand but they made content without him for years...I don't think he's holding back anything from happening. Also, Patrick has continued to put out content in the form of his weekly Worth Reading columns despite all he has been through the past week along with a wedding on the horizon.
