Battletoads, I have been on a mission to defeat that game and see it's shitty one screen ending for a while now. And while I've done it in the past, it's always been on emulators and not really a true finish.
I have two copies of it, after a certain play session where I was being pounded I ended up only having one copy after my friend L. Slugger stepped in.
I loved Battlebots and the only good game that was made about the theme, Robot Arena 2. I would love if someone went full bore on an Arcade version of the concept.
Also, my one memory from watching Battlebots was Grant Imohara's robot having it's weapon snapped off just from too much use.
ME1 is a heavy hitter that can absorb a huge chunk of your time, saying that I would run through it to get blooded into the universe and story of Mass Effect. The touches that carry over to ME2, that you wouldn't notice if you didn't play the first game, are great.
You can blow through it, but I suggest doing a few of the side quests to not just plow the game. Make sure you don't start a new game after your first completion, as you cannot take that Shepard into ME2 if a second game is in progress. I found that out the hard way and had to throw 25 hours towards completing a hardcore run of it.
