I have a Wii and can't even find the time or money to play the amazing Wii games that I have, let alone some mythical non-existent game that Nintendo could be putting out.

Wii+DS = Too many amazing games for me to even play.  I plan on buying a PS3 soon and giving my girlfriend the Wii, but it is only because there are a number of PS3 games I want to play and will not be able to find time for the Wii anymore.

Seriously, if you are playing so many games that you say, "The Wii just doesn't have enough good games to satisfy me," then you are:

A) Rich with a LOT of time on your hands
B) Poor but have absolutely no life
C) Work in the games industry, so you are playing games all god damn day

or, most likely

D) Are in high school, have a lot of time, and are spoiled by your parents.

That is all.

Elder Scrolls Oblivion isn't even the best game in the Elder Scrolls series.

Morrowind FTW

I wonder if that fact that Wii sales are rapidly increasing bothers people that really want to be right about it being a fad.

It is so obvious that Nintendo has struck gold.  The only people that make noise about it are the testosterone junky Nintendo fanboys that want all the marketing 'tention and the 360/PS3 fanboys that just want to be "cool" with a sick burn.

True gamers play fun games, regardless of the system.

"Anyone notice that their supposed focus on casual gamers wasn't particularly great either?

Casual gamers are getting Wii Music this year, and Wii Sports Resort next year. That's two games in the next twelve months targeted at the non-gamer crowd, and a sort of tweener in Animal Crossing. If you're a new Wii gamer, they're not giving you much. They're being "abandoned" as much as hardcore gamers are.

Fact of the matter is that Nintendo released most of its games in the past twelve months, and they didn't have much left. It's a case of bad planning translating into a bad show.
"
Not really.  The majority of the "casual" Wii buyers only buy 2-3 games per year, tops.  That's why the over all tie rate for the Wii is low.

The best and most true comment about Nintendo's E3 comes form the Penny Arcade blog.  Paraphrased: The opening salvo did not miss, it was simply aimed elsewhere.

Fanboys are pissed because Nintendo doesn't care about focusing its marketing efforts on them.  What a world we live in, when the consumer is annoyed because they are not the target of a marketing campaign.

Nintendo could have announced Kid Icarus, Pikmin, etc., and could have talked about Conduit, Fragile, sports games, etc.  It would not have changed the release schedule at all.  And the fanboys would have been happier?  Because they got the marketing attention?  Hmm.  What does that sound like?

If you are so annoyed, go put money down on a 360 and/or PS3 and stop bitching on the internet.

I agree with the above posters, except for No More Heroes.  I do not know what people see in that game.  I played through the whole thing waiting for it to get good and it just never happened.  It's not even funny.  Well, maybe it's funny if you were born in the 90's.

Let me also recommend Boom Blox.

Nintendo doesn't give a shit about gamers?  Ha.  They are making new gamers.

If you mean gamers that like to play first-person games and little else, then you are right, they don't care about them.

There are good games on 360, PS3, and Wii.  All three platforms only exist to take your money.  Pick your poison.

Honestly, I find Greg hilarious about 10%, and unbearably annoying 90% of the time.  There seems to be little middle ground.

The Ryan Geddes song was pure gold, though.

I hate to say it, but Wii Sports is probably going to sell the most.  If you don't count pack-ins, it will still probably be some other Wii game.  Now that is an inconvenient truth.

Actually, it could be a multi-platform game like Star Wars, but I honestly don't think that will put up all that amazing of sales figures.

GTA4 did really well, but it has already stopped selling.  I don't even think it will finish top 3.
