I have to admit i wasn't THAT excited for SC2.
 
I'm pretty excited now.

I only bumped into it by accident, and continue to do so. In other words, i pretty much never use it.

Garrus and Mordin if i don't care about performance.
 
If i do, it depends on class, but usually Miranda (squad weapon damage, good array of powers) and...someone else.

You need really high paragon or renegade scores (like, 90% is too low). Afaik you only get the option to keep her if you succeed at all the charm/intimidate attempts when she last tries to seduce you.

Freespace goddamn 2. Or hell, Freespace 1 if you want to start from the beginning. They're pretty much millitary with no trade mechanics and very linear (mission-based), but SO well-done that you'll never want anything else. If i had to compare the mission structure with any game, i'd say Modern Warfare 2. That's how good it is.

Baldur's Gate 2, Starcraft, Half-life and Need for Speed 2, for starters. Then i'll figure which one he likes best and give him more of that genre.
