I for one do believe there are certain cases in which yes, someone deserves to die.
I was watching a show on the discovery channel about some horribly obese boy (800 + lbs ) who was the way he was because of his overeating. Nothing was medically wrong with him and his mother practically breaks her bank taking care of him (doctor visits, food etc etc) and all the boy did was play Xbox and whine. People like this little (big) boy are imo a blight on the world and deserve to die. They offer nothing to the world and take everything.
" I like books that are gripping. I don't want to pick up a book and find out that a good 50% of the words are just flowery descriptions and purple prose nonsense that was just shoved in there so that some upstart author could make their stupid first novel look fancier than the piece of shit it actually is. I get really angry about this, if you couldn't tell. "
Haha yeah I hate unnecessary detail....there should be just enough so you can IMAGINE what there talking about, not have three pages talking about the sun shining off of her luxurious shoulder length chestnut hair....
What do you, the GB community, think makes up a good book? What sort of things are the masses interested in reading about? I've got some literary works cooking in the oven and I'm curious to see what you guys are interested in. Or does no one read anymore...?
