I was in a similar situation. I thought about getting the wireless gaming adapter for PC, which would allow me to use the xbox wirless controllers on it. That is actually the cheapest option if you already have the 360 controller. But I ended up getting the Madcatz officially licensed 360 control pad because I found them on sale. It's been a decent controller so far, has a two year warranty and the d-pad is much better then the stock 360 d-pad (haven't tried the silver xbox d-pad though). It feels like a solid controller and I've had no problems with it so far. Been playing Dirt 3 and Assassins Creed Revelations.

There is a way to use the PS3 controller on PC but you have to download third party drivers (MotionJoy). I've heard mixed things about the drivers, such it's possibly spyware, so I didn't want to try the PS3 controllers. Also, PC games seem to all have immediate compatibility with 360 controllers, so it was the better option.

@Jeffsekai: I was invaded 4 times today, lost all... :( But last night I tried summoning atleast 10 times at 4 kings in NG+ and they all failed. So, it's still up for debate.

If you kill any of the hostile NPC forest covenant defenders before you talk to Alvina, does she still give you the option to join Forest Hunters?

It depends on how you want to play. You should focus down on some of those stats. I think Vit and End is always good if you're not sure what to go with, but your str, dex, faith needs more focus. If you're a miracles caster you need the faith and some more attunement to hold multiple miracles. Not sure how well miracles work for PVP. Str and Dex depends on the type of weapons you're using. You should pick one and build it up, 20 is low for either.

It's a bit frustrating to not really get any official info for xbox users. Also wish/hoping they can do something about xbox stat hackers. Will have to sit back and see what happens.

@Lozz: The str based weapons are slower but hit hard and then you have dex weapons that are faster and can combo attack. Try swinging around some un-upgraded weapons and see what you like. The game really opens up after you complete Sen's Fortress and get to Anor Londo. After using the Drake Sword I went between and a +10 claymore (sort of inbetweener of the str weapons and dex) and lightning spear. I started to pump up my dex stat and went to using Queelag's Fury Sword for quite awhile. By end game I was using a +15 great scythe because I liked it's range and damage. It's fun to experiment.

I used a claymore. The R2 thrust attack could be done from a safe distance and then I could roll out before any attacks got to me.

I was high 60's when I beat them. Took down the fat guy first because I knew the attack patterns of the dragon slayer guy (Ornstein). It took me many attempts as well. I used the eagle shield for it's lightning resistance and Quelaag's Fury sword, wearing gold hemmed mostly with havels leggings.

Are you trying to tank them in heavy armor or are you able to move around quickly? Tactic might change depending on that. How I beat them was...

Fight Ornstein as the 2nd boss, you only really need to worry about two attacks if you keep your shield up. You have to dodge his spear grab, which impales you and tosses you to the floor. You can tell he's going to do it because his spear gets covered in lightning and he charges up. Try to roll out of the way at the right moment. The 2nd attack is his air stomp, when he jumps up, lands and releases tons of lightning out his ass. You can back off and then try a jumping attack before he moves away.

Definitely have the NPC around, so he can atleast take some damage for you. I tried to get other players summoned but was so paranoid a red phantom was going to pop up, already happened to be a couple time Anor Londo. Was never successful at getting some player help.

@TeamJersey: The merchant in Undead Burg drops the Uchitgatana, if you don't mind killing him.
