I’ve gotten some questions about DRM and Darkspore and want to clear up any confusion.  

Many of you already know this, but I just want to underscore again that Darkspore will not include DRM.  

I’ve seen some confusion about the requirement of being connected to the internet to play.  As an online game that we’re happy for you to play on multiple machines, we’re storing your progress on our servers.  The point of this is to make it easier for our players to get to the game, not harder.  :)

Hope that clears up any mixups!

Seeing an new NDX episode almost helps cheer me up for losing Paul on the Engadget Podcast. Almost.

Wow, I'm really stuck on the first VS franchise (not the "heroes can't rip out spines" one). Any hints would be great appreciated. 
 
Nevermind, I got it. Glad you guys mentioned the 404 thing and that you just gotta search for the right page, otherwise I would have been filled with FURY.

Also, several of the project leads for Darkspore worked on Diablo 3, so there's that.

It's been a long road, but I've been here since the first NDX podcast, and I'll keep listening to every cast the day it comes out as long as it stays alive! I can't wait for the 3DS e-store stuff!

I love any RPG that  lets you level up individual skills and stats by using them. On that note, can anyone recommend some other RPGs that work that way? MMOs would be great, though I already know about Darkfall.

Thank god, I was worried that Comcast was just putting out poor service again. Same problem for me on Windows XP on Chrome & Firefox. I tethered my Verizon 3G phone to the PC and got it to stream fairly decently with low setting (or maybe medium) after letting it pre-load for a while. Hope you guys get it fixed, it's a shame to miss out on your great content!

I'm so glad I decided to just pre-order the game. I'm so psyched up for Star Trek that I can now genuinely enjoy Enterprise. Wooh, Vulcan historical theology!
